If you’d like an Official Greeting from George W. Bush for a special occasion, you can go here for information on doing so.
(I’m presuming this particular program didn’t originate with Dubya — it’s just the sort of thing that pols love.)
Special occasions include: Anniversaries (50th or higher), Birthdays (80th or higher), Weddings (send your request after the event), Baby’s Birth (must be born during the current Administration; send request only after baby’s birth), Boy Scout Eagle Scout Award, Girl Scout Gold Award, Bar/Bat Mitzvah or “equivalent occasion.”
Order the greeting 6 weeks in advance (except as noted); they’ll be mailed about ten days before the event.
Now I kinda regret not knowing this in time for Nona’s 90th. I have no idea about her feelings regarding the current Administration, but I know she met the Reagans during some catering work once upon a time (Nancy thought she set a very pretty table, and specifically asked for her again).
