You ever notice that your stapler runs out of staples at the least convenient time?
Of course, when would it be a convenient time for it to run out of staples? It’s not like you’d glance over one day and see the “reload staples soon” light on the thing, so you could reload it prior to a time when you were actually using it.

Actually, that was kind of the point of the epiphany I had today. It’s akin to, “Why is it the Xerox machine is down just when I want to make copies?!”
Er…my stapler does have a warning mechanism, a red plastic insert that can be seen from a window in the staple repository, but only if you’re getting low…
