New version of Google Talk out, mostly mild tweaks to the interface:
- You can now add icons for yourself. A minor tweak that the purists will likely hate, but fun nonetheless.
- You can change the overall format of conversations. I actually pretty much like the original format, to be honest>
Plus an announcement about Google Talk for the Blackberry. *sigh* Really wish it was available for easy chatting on something other than a persistent push connection (like Blackberries have), i.e., something similar to Yahoo! IM’s ability to sign in to YIM from my Treo. Alas.
I will note that Margie and I are still intermittently using the phone call feature when I travel. The fidelity is a whole lot better than an analog call.
