Look! It’s the World’s Least Urgent Features!
Well, not altogether true. But not much in the new Google Talk upgrade has me excited.
- File transfer: Look! Another reason for sysadmins to block Google Talk at your office!
- Voice mail: Okay, I suppose if you make a lot of use of GTalk’s voice chat service, being able to leave a voice mail is cool. If you don’t … well …
- Music tracking: Display the music you’re listening to! Or … not.
That’s all very nice. Now … when will we get Google Talk for SMS? That would be a feature I would use!
