This month I “earned” 84 cents

Meanwhile Kevin Rose earns about $250,000 a month from Google ads on digg.com. And he’s not the top earner. *sigh*…

  1. Glad to see that I’m not the only one who is finding “AdSense” to be more of a scam than an actual useful money-producing tool.

Not that I do my site to make money, but it would be nice to see a bit now and again!

  2. I don’t consider it a scam, per se, but I’m not exactly making money on it. I just don’t have enough traffic. (I also don’t understand the mentality of most ad click-thrus, to be honest.)

My lifetime (to date) earnings have been about $69 — though Google doesn’t send out checks until they hit $100. So it may be a while. Now, of course, I feel vaguely on the hook to wait until I hit that C-note and receive it — at which point, I’ll likely pull the AdSense stuff off. That should be … oh, around 2012 or so …
