I’ve been looking into these kind of toys. Is there something you think she would enjoy, with Christmas coming and all?
Decisions, decisions …
Let me ponder.
Actually, in the same theme (but not listed at the site), she really enjoys playing with Lego, and is woefully lacking in same.
In the classic toys department, I’m really disappointed lately with science toys. I guess chemistry sets fell afoul of either DHS or litigation-itis. Other science stuff seems really dumbed down to me, compared to the Edmund Scientific, crystal radio sets, Heathkit, etc., sets of my youth.
Young Miss Laura wants a chemistry set, microscope, and a few other “learning toys” this year. I don’t want to buy her cheap stuff that is dumbed down.
And her’s is the generation that is supposed to solve the energy crisis, take us to the planets, develop quantum computers and the like…
More on the chemistry set scandal. Bleah.
