You Are Coke

A true original and classic, you represent the best of everything you can offer.
Just the right amount of sweet, just the right amount of energy… you’re the life of the party.

Your best soda match: Mountain Dew

Stay away from:Dr Pepper

Granted, I find most BlogThings quizzes to be pretty lame, but it’s hard to argue with the results here.

For the record, my soda of choice (now that I am diet soda pretty exclusively) is Coke Zero — because it tastes like Real Coke (which makes sense, because it’s formulated from Coke Classic, not from New Coke, which is what the abominable Diet Coke is derived from). In restaurants, since CZ is rarely on the menu, I much prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke — if stuck with the latter, I’ll put a squirt of lemonade or lemon-lime soda in it, just to kill the bitterness.

  1. I drink about 64 ounces of Dr. Pepper a day! Root beer’s okay, but nothing special. And 7-Up is my favorite uncaffeinated drink! So go figure.

    You Are Dr. Pepper
You’re very unique and funky, yet you still have a bit of traditionalism to you.
People who like you think they have great taste… and they usually do.

  2. I noticed that 7-Up changed their formulation lately? (Spotted a box of it at the store the other day.) A pity — I don’t care much for it, but at least it stood apart from the pack of other interchangeable lemon-lime sodas.
