Hrm. Had some problems with my Outlook mail yesterday, but hoped they would clear up with a reboot (i.e., by today).
Alas, no. Mail would come in, but not go out, all to the tune of one of those spiffy little error messages that Microsoft likes to pass on:
An unknown error has occurred. 0x80040119
Fun.
The answer appeared to be deleting my offline storage file and letting Outlook recreate it. This file is a cached copy of my message store on my notebook, which both speeds up working with stuff and allows me to do things offline.
Alas, we’re also talking about 1.4Gb of Stuff, so resyncing isn’t taking a trivial amount of time. Plus, of course, I’ll need to recreate the several outbound messages that hung up yesterday, one of which was from a VP indicating I really ought to just shift $37K of expenses for his project back over to the IT budget, and make it snappy.
*sigh*
