Working in the (unfinished) office upstairs.

UPDATE: I would give a bright shiny nickel to not be working today — but I have a nice view out the window at the snowy neighborhood.

  1. That’s always been a drawback for me too. When we had that “last big storm” in Colorado in March 2003, I got to work while everyone else played. Same went for yesterday and today. Of course, I work in my pj’s most mornings so I guess it’s worth it in the end.

  2. I could have taken it a lot more easily most of the time, but we’re locked in a death-grip of some major projects and proposals that absolutely, positively had to be worked on today.

And … if I’d been in California, I’d have been working in the office out there, too. And facing a 90+ minute commute back to the Ks. So I guess that’s all to the good.
