Y’know, after all the ongoing brouhaha by conservative parishes and parishioners within the Episcopal Church, I am more joyful than saddened (though a bit of both) by the votes of various parishes to break away from TEC and join up with the “Not only do we think it’s wrong, but we think it should be outlawed and illegal to talk about” Church of Nigeria
folks.

I’d rather have an Episcopal Church of many views and beliefs — but if folks don’t want to be in communion with me, do I need to want to be in communion with them?
