And an amazing, unexpected, happy ending.

Three weeks ago, our 17yo, pudgy, arthritic Siberian slipped past me thru an open door, undetected. Her absence wasn't noticed until the next morning and there was no sign of her.

We had, frankly, lost hope.

This afternoon, a neighbor some houses away connected the dots between a poster I had put up and the cat that was hanging out in their window well, and contacted me.

And it was our cat, and she's now home (and getting much pampering).

Whew!

Y'know, as a convicted criminal, I'm not sure I'd be encouraging the police to rough up, assault, or kill suspects, even for just one day.

But, no, as his campaign says, it's not a *real* policy proposal. Just another chunk of red meat / dopamine for his rabid followers, who love the idea of beating up "other" criminal suspects.
