Not quite sure what I was thinking today as I walked out the door without my snow boots (or at least waterproof shoes) on. Oh, well.
The past week has done a major job on the glaciers around town — our street is still ice packed but rutted down to the road bed in a number of cases, and going for a walk around the business park at lunch is no longer a Shackleton-like effort. We’re only supposed to get a few inches today, so that’s all to the good. And, as always, the moisture can only help the area in the coming year.
