… ’cause I was a history major. But I ended up doing a lot of database work around environmental sampling and analysis a decade or so back, so when I remember a term (quantitation limit) that turned out to be handy to explain a management concept (over-analyzing project plans and tracking tasks to too fine a granularity) to some folks, it filled me with a lot of geeky joy.
