I almost used the Vader for the post … but in vacuum (so to speak) it loses something — it doesn’t seem (like the others) a bit of real SW in Orlando Airport, but some guy in a DV costume in a security line. Only in context of the others do you realize that’s the real DV … wearing *very clean* white socks …
They’re all good. Darth Maul and even Yoda and the Ewoks. Someone deserves a bonus.

I like the Boba Fett and Yoda posters the best. They made me laugh. Darth Maul made me laugh too, but then I noticed that he is out of scale with respect to the end of the runway he’s standing on. The only one that doesn’t really do anything for me is the Darth Vader poster. I think they should have done something more with him or chosen another character. I recognize that most things that would have been more in character for Vader were probably nixed because they might be percieved as promoting improper behavior in the airport, so I would have liked them to have used C-3PO and R2-D2. I’m imagining them trying to go through the metal detector.
(Shouldn’t Vader’s feet be cyborg feet?)

J D #Vance is trying to draw a weird line between "public policy" and "matters of #morality," claiming that the #Pope should stick to his lane in only commenting about the latter.

Given that the Right has insisted that *all* public policy should be driven by their morality for as long as I can remember, and that #Trump and his minions have constantly painted the #Iran war as blessed by God, Vance's suggestion doesn't even pass the laugh test.
