If I complained last week about how Owen was two-dimensional, the plot for “Ghost Machine” resolves that a bit.  Plenty of drama for him, and for Gwen.  We get a bit more about Captain Jack, too.

But … still feels like only a rather well-performed “spooky police procedural” — nice, but still just a tick above conventional.  A solid B+.  I seriously want it to be more than that.
