So, which way is the dancer spinning? Well, in point of fact, she’s not spinning in any given direction that can be actually perceived, being only a silhouette, but which way does your brain think she’s spinning?
The ostensible answer is that if you say “counter-clockwise,” you’re thinking more with your logical left brain (and are more likely right-handed?) while if you say “clockwise,” then it’s your artistic right brain that’s running the show.
Me? I see it initially as counter-clockwise, but if I glance away then come back, it’s changed. Don’t know if that means I’m a well-balanced and fully integrated, or just really confused. My money’s on the latter.

Clockwise…can’t make it go the other way.
As I said, I first saw it as c-c, then as c, then it would randomly change. Now I’m seeing it only as c.
Margie claims she can make it change direction at will. 🙂
