So I’ve pretty much stopped drinking coffee at the office, as I’ve shifted over to tea. I started off doing a cup of coffee, then cutting over for the rest of the day, but I found the taste difference too annoying.
And, in fact, it’s all herbal tea — currently Celestial Seasonings Cranberry Cove first thing, then Good Earth Original for the rest of the day.
No headaches, no complete dragging in the morning — and my office smells nice when I open it up in the morning.
I’m still being the coffee fairy when I get in in the morning, just because.
All of which is calling this recent Onion article uncomfortably to mind.
I will note that I still swig coffee down like a lunatic at restaurants and at home on the weekends (or if I’m working from home). But, for whatever reason, I’m in tea mode at the office.
Dave,
I am trying to find packages of Celestial Seasonings Cranberry cove tea- but it seems that it has been discontinued—- for a friend who is really missing being able to get it at the markets-
I found your blog on google and hope you can give me an idea about where to buy it–
I am on Long Island, New York–
thanks,
Lois
Being a Denver guy (and California before that), I’m not sure I could tell you where to find Lipton tea. 🙂 On the other hand, I am in CS’s neck of the woods …
It does look like the tea has been discontinued (no sign of it on the CS site). You might be able to score some boxes online, but the supply is definitely cut off. A shame — I liked that flavor.
