- Worst baby names. It’s almost impossible to come with a name that some kid, somewhere, isn’t going to poke fun at, but it’s nice to at least make the ffort.

For that Harry Potter link I have one question… Why the hell did the guy sell his online site to a book publisher? That’s just greed and stupidity all wrapped up. Because obviously Rowling was fine with his original idea, which wasn’t based on making a profit. Which is the way it should be.
With the Terminator article, how about we work on fair treatment of robots so we don’t get into a situation where they try to rule the world.
I agree on the Potter thing. That’s the point where he should have said, “We need to get Rowling/Warner’s approval on this.”
I’m not sure if treating robots fairly will keep them from trying to rule the world — if they’re sentient enough to appreciate fairness. On the other hand, we’ve not managed to treat human workers fairly, so why we’d do it for robots is beyond me.
