    Would it be fair to say you’re green with envy?

    Of course, the Law of Plant Sale Karma will now come into play. While it’s been expressed in many ways, the most succinct rendition is, “You buy it, you plant it.”

    I actually didn’t buy as much as I often do — we’re (hopefully) going to be doing a bunch of relandscaping out front (which will mean more plants, but cant be bought/planned quite yet), and most of the current planting areas are well populated. Still, a quartet of small roses were the biggest items, plus some various herbs, Plant Select items, etc. Really, only enough to fill a shopping cart …

    It should be a nice day for planting, sunny but cool, with the lilacs in bloom.
