That is the exact model of Dell monitor that sits in front of my desk. It is as if we have an unspoken brotherhood… *sniff*
I have intentionally stayed away from getting an exterior monitor for my notebook so that I don’t have to transition from one to the other on a regular basis but … wow, it’s nice. And big. And bright.
So the Helpful Help Desk Guy (not a direct hire by me, but a direct hire by a direct hire, once upon a time, so I take partial credit) found a spare notebook, same model. Swap over the 2Gb of RAM, swap over the hard disk, voila, a working notebook.
But I still might keep the Big Monitor.
