As Summer has abruptly transitioned into Fall, I’m finding my commute situation places me in much closer contact with the weather. After all, I have to traverse the parking lot (at the Park-n-Ride), wait on the platform for the train (under a small shelter), and then cross from the train to the office. As the mornings have grown cooler, I’ve transitioned into a light jacket a lot sooner than I would have otherwise.
No great hardship, but will make for progressively more interesting mornings as the weather continues to get frostier. I will surely find renewed joy in the London Fog overcoat that my Nona got for me when I first moved out here.
Fall finally arrives, and with it delightfully cool weather. Oh frabjious day! Callooh! Callay! I chortled this morning right up until I walked into my office and it was ninety degrees.
The campus system has either air conditioning or heating. Apparently they made the switch last night. Weather variability? What’s that?
