Well, yesterday they got the basic flagstone all cut and placed, all the way down the path to the sidewalk. Obviously the next step there is setting it in the various fashions they’ll be using.

There’s still a retaining wall or three that is needed. The supply of strip stone is dwindling. I need to consult on the plans. Still plenty of boulders, though. Need to discuss their placement.

We did get an unused conduit run beneath the steps down close to the sidewalk, so that if we ever need to replace/run another sprinkler line, etc. over to that side, we can without excavation.

Beyond that — planting a couple of trees, smoothing out the beds, placing some swales of rock …

And then it’s done.

And then I get back to work, replanting stuff, planting bulbs for the fall, etc.

I’m kinda looking forward to it.
