We intentionally did not do any “big” projects for this Jim/Ginger visit, but a lot of little ones got written down. Here’s the project list from the weekend, with accomplished ones lined out:
-
Replace back porch light. -
Replace kitchen rheostat. -
Fix washing area bi-fold doors. -
Mount the bell. -
Patch ceiling around breakfast room fan. -
Fix shelves in guest room. -
Get up Christmas. - Fix drawer under the oven.
Not too shabby. And, of course, Jim did 99% of it, so a bargain at twice the price!
We also discussed home improvement projects to come, including major TI on the coat closet, redoing the downstairs bathroom (and possibly the guest/Kitten bath upstairs), and follow-up plans around repainting and reflooring the downstairs in general.
TI? What’s that? To me, TI is the chemical symbol for Titanium!
“Tenant Improvement” — usually referring to all the reconstruction, painting, flooring done in retail or office space when a new tenant takes possession.
Is the geeky joy I feel at knowing those sorts of Real Estate terms wrong or just twisted? =)
