I’d forgotten how cool it was to watch the snow fall over the city from up in a skyscraper. Granted, I don’t have a window to watch it from, except when I get up to get some tea or something, but it’s still very pretty.
On the other hand, I’d forgotten how bite-ass cold the wind can be whipping through the buildings on street level. I need to transfer my ear muffs to my overcoat.
Commuting in this morning was no issue, with the light rail. Well, it almost was, as I almost missed the train, getting started a few minutes late (nothing to do with the weather), and then constrained in my speed in the van on the light powdering. But the train had no problems.
We’ll see what the van is like at the Park & Ride this evening, but that’s no different from it sitting out in the parking lot at the office in Golden.
