From each according to his means, to each according to his needs. Pretty basic socialist/communist dogma, right? And when you get folks like Obama talking about “redistribution of wealth,” it sends all those cold socialist chills down the spines of all right-thinking red-state Republicans, right?

Which, of course, explains why the current redistribution of wealth is flowing almost entirely from blue states to red states, right? I mean, huh? 

 

Based on 2005 tax data and 2004 presidential party data, the money is pretty much going to GOP states from Democratic states.

So, are those “reds” ready to cut their freeloading citizens off from the “public trough” and end all that evil anti-capitalist “redistribution of wealth”? 

Yeah, I didn’t think so. Talk, unlike income redistribution, is cheap.
