Daffodil

Yes, the unseasonable, extended warm spell has all the bulbs bulbing all over. Yeesh.

  1. I think I’ll be turning on the sprinklers this weekend.

Wish I had the slightest clue how to fix that one sprinkler head… or even how to just plug it up.

  2. I wouldn’t fire up the sprinklers yet. We may well get some serious cold snapping in the weeks to come. But some manual sprinkling, mebbe so.

If you want to consult on sprinklers Saturday, I’m available.

  3. It goes along with a study in bird nesting and migration patterns I saw last month. Everything is moving north/or to Higher Elevations.

I told my mom several years ago that soon we will have Pueblo’s winters….and we are not far off right now. 🙁

  4. Well, we do have that wonderful southern-facing yard. And heavy mulch to retain water in the soil. Lots of bulbs coming up, both ones I planted and ones that managed to survive the relandscaping — but only in the front yard so far.
