Waiting to Watch the Watchmen

In general I’m trying to stay away from Watchmen reviews until after we see it tonight. That’s a bit odd in this case because, by and large, I already know what’s going to happen (strengthened by reports that the movie is faithful, perhaps to a fault, to the original, save for a couple of things trimmed out and one significant element at the end, about which I’ve heard no further details and do not wish to). So it’s not like there are huge spoilers (“Rorschach, I am your father!” “Hrm. No. Not possible.”) out there.

Nevertheless, on principle, I’m trying to avert my eyes, aside from “It rawks!” or “It sux!” sorts of unavoidables.

And, of course, anticipating watching it tonight with serious geeky glee.
