First, some background:
On the Server I am on on AoC, “Wicanna – the unofficial RP-PvE server”, was for the most part a place of general silliness and helpfulness on the Global Chat channel. One of the players was bored one night when Global was mostly silent and decided to start posting random bit about the Great Cricket (ala the Great Pumpkin) and things grew from there. Armies of Cricket Knights mounted on Bunny Steeds….with Pro and anti Cricket forces, with the anti Cricketers being armed with Fondue Pots and giant Cricket Forks.
So, yes, all very silly and amusing. Then came the Server Mergers and the new folks were not as amused by the Cricket post and the silliness and insisted on making Global about being angry at folks and inter-guild drama. But, thankfully, after many months the Cricket forces have prevailed….so…Saturday I posted the link to the NomNomNomNom song and there were many lols. =P
