Congratulations! I can’t speak for martial arts, but as an endurance athlete, as I improve, I am more aware of the differences between where I am and where I hope or strive to be.

Congrats on the brown belt. Are they going to start letting you teach now? I know that when I started teaching Tae Kwon Do it really opened my eyes to a lot of the things that I could still improve on too.

  She remains technically “senior” to me due to time at the rank (sort of like military commissions).

Our helpful #trash company has provided, free of charge (except as some fractional amount of our trash bill over time) brand new giant #garbagecans which their new trash trucks can easily lift and empty.

Without being concerned, apparently, as to whether folk actually have the space (esp. those of us who keep our trash cans inside the garage, given our snowy winters) for these significantly larger cans.

So I spent the day re-configuring my garage shelving, dagnabbit.
