I’m trying (again) the Remember the Milk task tracker service as a potential way to (a) track tasks across machines and locations and (b) do ditto for reminders. In theory RtM will let me do reminder via IM, which is cool — but so far I haven’t been able to get it to work.
It also has a Blackberry sync tool, which would be another nice way to track tasks — though I find the BB Task client to be really pretty crude, plus my phone is now freaking locked down. Rrg.
It also allows Twitter input. Cool.
