Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- Honoring Two Christian Men Martyred in Florida – Um … the guy confessed he shot them and is in jail awaiting prosecution. Why do we need (even if there was a whiff that the killing was based on religion) a civil rights investigation? Except, of course, to make headlines and emphasize Christian Martyrdom.
- Coup d’etat at Premier Conservative Conference? – Apparently letting known GAYZ into the room counts as infiltration and anti-defamation of conservative and Christian (apparently the same) values. Riiiiight.
- White House Urges Repeal of Insurers’ Antitrust Exemption – Prescriptions Blog – NYTimes.com – Good.
- Rep. Clyburn: ‘I find it appalling’ that Rep. King would call the IRS terror attack ‘a noble happening.’ – Glad to see someone calling this jerk out for his comments.
- The Right-Wing Backlash Against Glenn Beck: Stop Being A ‘Clown’ Who’s Trying To Divide Conservatives – Nice to see a few people noticing that Beck is, first and foremost, a clown.
- ADF Likens Day of Prayer Lawsuit To Hostage-Taking Gunman – wow. Hyperbolic, much?
- Christian Defenders Baselessly Demand DOJ Investigation of Florida Murder – Yeah, we’ll be hearing this one chugging around the Internet for years.
- Theater VP: Go F*** Yourself, Here are Directions To Another Theater – Somebody was having a VERY bad day. But given his theater’s policies, it’s not surprising that the vP has some anger management issues.
- How I Was Able to Ace Exams Without Studying – I’ve come to realize that the notes I take on subjects tend to be actually “mind maps” of conceptual connections (thus the mess of colors and arrows and the like). Some cool info here.
- So how much do Americans like *your* country? – Actually, not really surprised by any of these stats.
- Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About The Blogosphere in One Handy Diagram – Some nice info here.
- No, You Can’t Afford Government Health Care – And here’s a big reason why not.
- The medical miracle that wasn’t – Sad. And angering — no mention in the story about the facilitator(s) being disciplined for, essentially, making crap up.
