- Rep. Ike Skelton is concerned DADT repeal would harm the children. – Actually, his concern seems less that it will harm the children than that it will put parents in a position of having to explain homosexuality to their kids. Egad, Of course, this can be done without an anatomy lessons (“Just like mommy and daddy love each other, most of the time men and women love each other, but sometimes men and men fall in love and women and women fall in love, and sometimes some people love both that way”). Of course, that would require actually admitting that homosexuality is about something other than GRAPHIC HARDCORE EVIL SEX … just as heterosexuality is.
