So if the GOP now takes credit for the black civil rights movement (by breaking the Dixiecrat deadlock of the Civil Rights Act of 1964), I can only with amusement consider the day to come, forty years from now, when they take credit for the gay civil rights movement, too (by touting how Judge Walker was nominated by Reagan and appointed by GHW Bush).
