Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- The Myth of Record-High Gold – NYTimes.com – But .. but … but … I’m sure I heard Glenn Beck talking about this!
- George W. Bush Failed to Stop Another Flawed Texas Execution – I don’t recall him boasting about this “decision point.”
- Why You’ll Give Up Gmail for Facebook Mail – Not bloody likely.
- The Daily Liam: The strange delights of East Colfax Avenue – Denver travelogue, English-style.
- Jeffco’s “Sleeper House” sells for $1.53 million – The Denver Post – It’ll always be Justice Squad HQ to me …
- Greyhound’s plan to relocate may open doors for revitalization downtown – The Denver Post – I’m of mixed feelings about blithely looking to get rid of the Greyhound Depot, given that it is used by mostly disadvantaged types. Close access to light rail, wherever they end up, is key. And getting some revitalization in that area would be nice, too.

Amusingly, the Greyhound hub was the RTD central hub starting in the early 70s until the Market Street station was built at the end of the 16th street mall.
btw: Greek characters? Really Captcha…and then Russian…and Arabic?!?!
I had not known that about the Greyhound depot, though I knew that they had a depot just off 17th St. (the sign for the depot parking is still visible, painted on one of those buildings).
