New chair and sofa in the family room. For a small fee, the delivery guys
moved the previous sofa to the basement, where it will serve as a decent
backup sleeping place.

Lovely set, and your coffee table is beautiful, too. Alas, solid-color furniture doesn’t work so well in my house, since I have a black and white cat who manages to shed dark fur on light colors and light fur on dark colors. 🙂
The coffee table is only about a year old; it’s higher than standard, which makes it easier to eat from and play games on. That the kinfolk managed to find an end table that matched is faboo.
We’ve had a mix of furniture colors in the family room — the previous was a wild motley of primary colors, the one before that a much more sedate uniform blue.
Earth tones. Why am I not surprised?
