  1. If I understand Fischer, he wants that passage to apply to all animals, despite the fact that it clearly specifies oxen. If that were the case, no human could be held liable for a death caused by any animal. Somebody could, therefore, train a dog to kill an enemy, or mail them a venomous snake or arthropod, or let loose a man-eating tiger in their house, and they could not be convicted of (or likely even charged with) murder. Fischer is either advocating murder by animal or has once again failed to consider the ramifications of his words.
