Links (most recent first) that caught my eye, but did not warrant full-blown blog entries ….
- Tighty Whities Are Funny! – “Live-Rubber Action-Fit!”
- After Pledging To Not Raise Taxes, Walker Proposes Hiking Taxes And Fees On The Poor And Students – “It appears that Walker is less committed to keeping taxes down on everyone than he is to cutting taxes for some of society’s most fortunate members, while raising them on some of its most vulnerable.”
- Paul Ryan’s ‘Compassionate’ Budget Would Gut The Food Safety Net – Ah, block grants. On the surface, a way for states to figure out how to solve problems. Digging deeper, a way to eliminate basic standards of what a problem actually consists of.
- Santorum: Ryan Is ‘Wrong’ Because He Doesn’t Force Current Seniors Into Medicare Privatization Scheme – I don’t know whether to admire Santorum more for being honest and consistent, or Ryan more for being “politically astute.” Within the context of despising their harmful policies, of course.
- Atlas Shrugged: A movie this demented ought to be against the law – Really, I am sorely tempted to get a copy of this movie. Maybe for a party where we invite everyone over and drink a lot.
- FTP Is 40 Years Old – Happy Birthday! FTP is the proto-cloud, allowing simple file copy/move from site to site, like the entire Internet is your file system. Well done, good servant.
