Y'know, as a convicted criminal, I'm not sure I'd be encouraging the police to rough up, assault, or kill suspects, even for just one day.

But, no, as his campaign says, it's not a *real* policy proposal. Just another chunk of red meat / dopamine for his rabid followers, who love the idea of beating up "other" criminal suspects.

This man should be let nowhere near the White House, ever again.

What's remarkable here is how baldly it's being presented as a way to gain 1 #ElectoralVote. No high principle. No effort to come up with a reason why it will make things more fair, more democratic, more in line with what voters want. Just "change the law so I get more votes."
