I did expect the guy to eventually say, “So, what do I have to do to get you to walk away with one of these babies today?” Never ran into a guy at a weapons shop quite this hard-sell.

I want to see the edge of that sword after all that imprecise butchery. I don’t know if my friend the butcher would applaud or wince at that.
When would you ever get to USE this sword in ordinary life?
Well, clearly the sword is being sharpened. And punching it through car hoods is generally not recommended, either.
As to when you’d use it … it’s like a really expensive sports car that can hit 200 mph — when would you ever use that, either, unless you have your own private test track? 🙂
