I think that is part of the motivation of some of the folks in the Tea Party who are driving congressional GOP actions, and it may be true for some of the folks in the GOP congressional delegation, but I think the real reason is because they’ve decided they can get away with it, both short-term and as a means to long-term power. At which point delegitimizing the President becomes a strategy, not a root cause.
