The article, while more than a bit flip in places, makes a whole lot of sense in general — this sort of a law is oversimplistic, will have unforeseen ramifications out the wazoo, and flies in the face of a lot of religious traditions.
Fortunately, it's being done in Mississippi, so the rest of us can watch and see how the whole thing plays out.
