I wouldn’t have let him post bail.

I think it would be hard to keep him in on bail unless it could be demonstrated he was a further risk to such monuments.
What’s not answered in the article (and having done a bit more reading) is whether the person arrested was the actual new owner of the property (on whose orders the damage was presumably done), or the guy he instructed to operate the bulldozer..

Donald's first impulse is *always* to shoot the messenger of bad tidings. Suggest that the Dear Leader has no clothes? That he's made a mistake? That he's not the most popular kid in the room? Then you're a liar. A phony. A failure. Ugly. Stupid. Unpopular. Radical. Criminal. Traitorous.
