Much fun, with quite a few folks in attendance. Games played included:
- “Betrayal at House on the Hill” – Faboo co-op game with many, many, many variations on replay. Randy brought this one, and I’ve added it to my wish list in case he can’t bring it some other time. (I won this one as the Traitor, mwah-ha-ha!)
- “Power Grid” – Stan brought this one, which we’ve played before. Basic resource / expansion style game. Good fun. (I won this one, though it was pretty neck and neck.)
- “Cribbage” – A hot game of this was played somewhere along the way. I hadn’t realized we had a cribbage board!
- “Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Castle” – Doyce ran a session out in the living room of this, which I regret not joining in on. Managed to keep an interesting variety of people and ages interested. Good stuff.
- “Scream Machine” – An old stand-by at our house, and still a fun, quick play. (Kay won this one.)
- “Password” – The even older stand-by. Mary and Stan and Margie and I played this one after the rest of the folks had left, with Kay joining in to kibbitz or in the final round. Very fun stuff. (Margie was on the most winning teams, including the round she played with Kay; aside from that, Mary, Margie and I were all the most-winningest.)

Sounds fun! Sorry I missed it, though I have been having a fabu time with the nieces and their respective entourages. And we got in a couple of cut-throat Euchre ourselves games last night after a refresher/intro course that made some of the newbies’ brains hurt. 😉
Well, we missed you on a couple of occasions, but we muddled through somehow. Next opportunity will be post-Twelfth-Night Game Day in January (date TBD).
Ah, probably brief explanation of brain freezing rules — sometimes some spades are clubs and vice versa and some some hearts can be diamonds … and the Jacks rule the world! 😉
