How Big Oil's Back Room Dealing with the GOP Revived the Keystone XL
This is not what democracy looks like.

I heard a male caller into one of the few remaining talkshow programs remaining on KGOam810 (after a recent, sudden drastic reformatting that “We” had asked for, which looks suspiciously like a severe-cost-cutting measure) say that anyone fighting for the environment was anti-American. The host, and presumably most of the listeners, were taken aback.
Maybe Keystone was paying him, too.
I expected this vote of the GOP members, but I am really disappointed in the Dems who caved.
@Marina – Sadly, Dem congresscritters are no less dependent on campaign funds than GOPers. And no less prone to influence of same.
The meme that environmentalism is anti-American is hardly news. Anything that stands in the way of anyone doing whatever they want is considered, by some, anti-American.
