There are a million reasons I'm glad Michelle Bachmann won't be our next president, but this isn't one of them
Thank you, Rick Santorum and your looooovely Iowa "coalitions director" for adding theocratic misogyny into the poisonous brew of the GOP race this year — though apparently it was found quite tasty by some of the evangelicals to whom it was offered. Yeesh.
It takes a lot to make me feel any sympathy for Bachmann's political fortunes, but you've just done it. #ddtb

Santorum Staffer Says Women Shouldn’t Be President Because It’s Against God’s Will
In an article about the reasons Rep. Michele Bachmann’s campaign fizzled, the Des Moines Register points to “sexism among conservatives,” singling out an offensive email written by a staffer to Rick S…

Yeah, that makes exactly no difference, chump.
@George – “Pay no attention to my semi-private writings, only what I mask with my public politeness.”
Plus, it was an email to Santorum (and possibly others), not an email to his mom or something.
Well, technically, he is correct, based solely on biblical teachings, especially the Old Testament.
1 point to Santorum
@BD – I’m sure he has chapter and verse to back his opinion. Doesn’t make him any less of a dolt. Perhaps moreso.
I thought it was strange that Bachmann declared herself to be the only “true conservative” candidate. Isn’t the conservative view of women that they should stay home raising the kids and fixing meals for their breadwinning husbands?
@Avo – There had actually been quite a bit of discussion about that in some circles. There was also the open question of whether her husband could thus (hypothetically) dictate presidential policy, as her “head”.
Oh, now that is just too freaky.
