I really have to wonder what the thought process was by the yahoo who put orange cross-hair stickers on the doors of various (almost all) Democratic state senators — including all four women in those positions.
– A harmless (if tasteless) warning that they have been politically targeted?
– A warning that the have been physically targeted?
– An attempt to instill terror?
– A meaningless random act by a sick mind?
What seems the most likely?
And what does it say that, after some of the stickers were removed, they were then replaced, inside the capitol, that same day?

@Avo – Actually, I suspect they have considered the consequences, and either thing (a) it’s a laff riot, (b) it’s a bold statement against tyranny, or (c) [fill in nutty mental ravings here].
I would thing the first option because people think that kind of shit is funny… but you can never be too careful if you are a politician.
I’m quite sure numbers 2 and 3 were what was intended by someone who is too cowardly to voice their opinion in public.
@Ellie – I suspect the person(s) involved thinks of themselves as a bold patriot, sticking it to those cravenly bad guys.
Given that it came right after Giffords was back in the news with her resignation, I wouldn't assume the first option, by any means. Especially if I were one of the pols in question.
