Tasers are better than service firearms — but that doesn't mean they are safe, any more than billy clubs or rubber bullets are safe. The selling of them as a safe way of dealing with recalcitrant suspects, and the latching onto that as an excuse by too many cops, has led to far too many deaths. #ddtb
