As your wife’s family might say – “Have you been living in a Schnooks (sp?) box?”
Russell Crowe has done some singing around his career, although more with his rock band, but Hugh Jackman has been singing on stage for quite some time, including on Broadway-twice. (I saw him live in “The Boy From Oz” and he was great. He has great stage presence – too bad that will be lost on the screen. )Whether they have the chops to carry the roles remains to be seen.
Alas, Mary, I have a theater-impoverished background.
