Against my better judgment, I might actually watch "Arrow"

I wasn't thrilled by the whole "Green Arrow" TV show concept, but the extended trailer in the article below is … yeah, I might watch it. A nice combo of mystery, obsession, action, and … well, arrows. Works, at the moment, for me.

Our helpful #trash company has provided, free of charge (except as some fractional amount of our trash bill over time) brand new giant #garbagecans which their new trash trucks can easily lift and empty.

Without being concerned, apparently, as to whether folk actually have the space (esp. those of us who keep our trash cans inside the garage, given our snowy winters) for these significantly larger cans.

So I spent the day re-configuring my garage shelving, dagnabbit.

I both loved and was deeply disturbed reading the George Stewart's " #EarthAbides " -- a thought-out and morose tale of the collapse of civilization after a 99.9% deadly plague sweeps the globe.

I won't be watching the MGM+ adaptation, though, both because that's a streaming service I don't have, and because either it will be faithful to the original (and deeply depressing), or not (and so depressing in its own way).
