That seems bizarre to me. The only time I’d face the rear in an elevator would be if that elevator had rear doors that would open at my floor; I used to go to a doctor’s office with that set up. I hate elevators, and turning my back on the only escape route would never be something I would do. Interesting, though, and I’m not surprised that it was done by someone who also collaborated with Candid Camera (that I would only watch if well paid to do so).
I always found CC kind of fascinating, in terms of human behavior. It’s been many years since I watched it, though.
I was about to post on your podcast post that you should sign off with “Face front, true believers,” and here you go using it as a title for an unrelated post. (Very witty and apropos, by the way.)
